Many brands are gearing up to launch more 5G phones in the Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 price range. Retailers are also worried about how 4G phones will be offered at these prices when 5G phones are available at lower prices. But this situation will change next year. Already companies like Itel are offering 5G phones under Rs 10000. Realme and Redmi are increasingly launching 5G phones at prices close to Rs 10,000. More Chinese smartphone brands will launch 5G phones at lower prices next year. A situation where the price difference between 5G phones and 4G phones is narrowing and many 5G phones are available at lower prices than 4G will make it difficult for retailers to clear their 4G phone inventory.
